Originally, Courting the Moon was going to be a single novel, but there are several supporting characters who have interesting stories of their own. I decided to put any other books written for this fantasy world under the heading The Arcenciel Romances.
INDIVIDUAL NOVELS:
Book 1: Courting the Moon
From October 2015 until April 2017, I focused on writing and editing a what was supposed to be a steampunk romance, originally titled “All’s Fair in Love and War” (referred to alternatively as “All’s Fair” or AFiLaW.) Naturally, it didn’t stay quite that simple and I ended up with Courting the Moon, a multicultural fantasy romance with a steampunk aesthetic set against a backdrop of political intrigue. (Whew! Try saying that three times fast! It really is a hybrid.)
Book 2: Pleasing the Sea
This is a companion novel that explores the relationship between two characters who played a supporting role in Courting the Moon. Many of the events in Book 2 take place at the same time as Book 1, but with a different focus. As of December 2018, this is still a work in progress.
