From October 2015 until April 2017, I focused on writing and editing a what was supposed to be a steampunk romance, originally titled “All’s Fair in Love and War” (referred to alternatively as “All’s Fair” or AFiLaW.) Naturally, it didn’t stay quite that simple and I ended up with Courting the Moon, a multicultural fantasy romance with a steampunk aesthetic set against a backdrop of political intrigue. (Whew! Try saying that three times fast! It really is a hybrid.)
Originally, Courting the Moon was going to be a single novel, but there are several supporting characters in the novel who have interesting stories of their own. I decided to put any other books written for this fantasy world under the heading The Arcenciel Romances.
